Alejandrina Melendez

Alejandrina C Meléndez earned her angel wings on October 19, 2024 at the age of 102. Alejandrina(also known as Canina) was born May 20, 1922 in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico to Maria Luisa Camou Espinosa and Alejandro Espinosa Osuna. She left peacefully surrounded by her family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin C Melendez and seven siblings.

Mom was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and is survived by her three children, Gloria Melendez, Benjamin Melendez (Marilyn) and Sandra Alvarez.

She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, AnneMarie, Kasandra (Garrett), Yvonne, Allen, Israel (Amy), Jose, Andrina (Looie), Melissa, Roxy (Richard),Marco (Britni), and Christian. She is also survived by 24 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

The Rosary for Alejandrina Melendez will be held on Saturday November 9th, at 10:30 AM at Saint Luke Catholic Church and the service will be held on Saturday, at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Burial: Calvary Cemetery, Douglas, Arizona.
