It is with deep sorrow and loving remembrance that we announce the passing of Ambrocio Barrios Garcia, who passed away at the age of 97 years and 11 months, on January 20, 2025. Born in San Miguel, Sonora, Mexico, on February 19, 1927, Ambrocio moved to Los Angeles at the age of 18 to begin his vocational career, eventually becoming a proud and dedicated employee at Pillsbury Co. for nearly 40 years. He contributed greatly to one of the largest food companies in the world and was known for his hardworking and loyal nature.
Ambrocio's passions were wide-ranging, but his love for the outdoors was undeniable. He enjoyed water sports, cherished days spent fishing, and found peace in nature's beauty. His love for the water mirrored his calm yet determined spirit - qualities that shaped his life both personally and professionally.
A devoted husband and father, Ambrocio is survived by his four sons, nine grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. He is also survived by one brother, one sister, and many nieces and nephews, all of whom were touched by his loving care and sense of responsibility.
Ambrocio was an exceptional provider for his family, a successful homeowner and investor, and a true pillar of support to those around him. He was known for his unwavering respect for others, his honesty, and his profound sense of duty to his family and community. His legacy is one of hard work, generosity, and love, and he will always be remembered as a hero to his family.
Ambrocio's life was a testament to the values he held dear - responsibility, respect, and devotion. He leaves behind a lasting imprint on the hearts of all who knew him.
The viewing will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2025 at 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at 1703-9th Street in Douglas.
The rosary will be held Friday, January 24th, 2025 at 12:30 PM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Douglas Arizona, the mass will be at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Burial will follow immediately at Calvary Cemetery in Douglas, Arizona.
