Fausto Arvayo Sanchez

On August 18th, 2023, Fausto Arvayo Sanchez from Pilares de Nacozari, Sonora, Mexico passed away at the age of 96. He was married to Eumelia Lopez de Sanchez for 54 years before her passing. He will be lovingly remembered by his children David, Gilberto, Juan, Carlos, Cecilia, Mario, Oscar and Patricia. His 28 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren will miss their Tata immensely.

Fausto was a great athlete and played in numerous traveling basketball leagues. He was a talented musician that played several instruments, his favorite being the saxophone.

He played in the group Latin Combo. 

He loved his family and pets. His favorite hobby was listening to music, especially orchestra music. 

The Sanchez family would like to extend our appreciation to our brother Oscar, who was the primary caregiver for our father. We are indebted to his unselfishness. We would also like to thank the caregivers who helped in our father's care, most recently, Tina and Cayetano. The medical personnel from Casa de La Paz Hospice. El 18 de agosto de 2023 falleció Fausto Arvayo Sanchez de Pilares de Nacozari, Sonora a la edad de 96 años. Se reúne con su esposa, Eumelia Lopez de Sanchez, que vivieron 54 años de casados.

Sus hijos David, Gilberto, Juan, Carlos, Cecilia, Mario, Oscar, Patricia lo recordarán con cariño. Sus 28 nietos, 48 bisnietos, y 3 tataranietos extrañarán a su Tata.

Fausto fue un gran atleta, participó en varios torneos estatales de basquetbol del estado de Sonora. Un gran músico, tocaba varios instrumentos pero su instrumento preferido era el saxofón. Fue el representante del conjunto Latin Combo. 

Él quería mucho a su familia y sus mascotas. Su pasatiempo era escuchar música de orquesta. 

La familia Sanchez quiere agradecer a nuestro hermano Oscar, quien cuido de nuestro padre por muchos años. También queremos agradecerle a su cuidadores Tina y Cayetano.
