Our loving mother, María Celia "Yuly" Gudiño Valdez, 76, of Douglas, Arizona, sadly passed away on November 13, 2023. She came to rest in the comfort and care of her children in Cedar Park, Texas. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her the most. She had many friends and family and was a beloved member of the community.

was born in Agua Prieta Sonora, Mexico to Celia Salinas Valdez & Arnulfo Valdez Meza and was married to Roberto Gudiño Sr. who she had five children with.

She took joy in being involved with social and religious clubs.

One of María's biggest accomplishments was being a mother. She had always wanted children and considered herself fortunate enough to have five.

Her children called their mother a heroine, and even as adults, still see her that way. She was always there for them and taught them to enjoy every moment life has to offer. She always brought a smile to everyone’s face. She will be eternally missed.

María is survived by her children, Julie Gudiño de Santos, Connie Martinez Gudiño, Liz Otero Gudiño, and Roberto Gudiño Jr. and predeceased Roxanna Bridget, her grandchildren, Roxanna Monique Martinez, Alexandra Raquel Martinez, Vicente Santos Gudiño, Jonivan A.
