Rosana Honne

October 19, 1976 — August 31, 2024

Rosana Honne, who was born and raised in Douglas, AZ, passed away peacefully in Tucson,

AZ, surrounded by her loving family on Aug. 31st 2024.

Rosana Graduated from Douglas High School with Honors in 1995 and was also a part of the

Bulldog Mat Maids. Rosana worked at both the Douglas Cinema and Paul's Jewelry Store at

the same time. In 1997, she started a family of her own, welcoming her first daughter. She

loved being a mother so much that she made nurturing children a career, lasting ten years

at La Escuelita Head Start. She loved her students so much that she pursued her diploma in

early childhood Education and welcomed baby girl number two in 2001, throughout her

various careers with DES, ACT call center, Cochise County, and most recently, Administrative

Assistant with medical at DOC in Douglas. Rosana touched many hearts and helped many

people grow, learn, and achieve. Those who came to know her loved her smile, personality,

and kind, warm heart.

She is preceded in death by her father, Armando Honne. She is survived by her loving

mother, Lupita Honne; her loving daughters, Lupita Jimenez-Boss (Husband: Garrett Boss)

and Angelica Jimenez (fiancé Francisco Grijalva); her grandchildren, Levi and Gwendolyn

Boss. Rosana leaves her love to her sister Liliana Honne, nieces Leila Radcliff and Marina

Hoffman (Husband: Daniel Hoffman), and nephew Armando Quijada (Wife: Casandra Diaz),

as well as to her Great-Nieces Deanah, and Della Hoffman and Mireya Quijada-Diaz.

Memorial Services will be held at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 2308 N Mc Kinley St,

Pirtleville, AZ 85626, on Saturday, September 21st, 2024. Rosary will begin at 10:30 a.m.

and Mass at 11:00 a.m.; burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery 1413-1599 5th St, Douglas,

AZ 85607. After services, a potluck will follow at the Elks Lodge, 650 e 10th St, Douglas, AZ

85607. It is encouraged to bring a dish to support the family in this hard time. In honor of

Rosana the family requests guests to wear bright colors to celebrate her life rather than

mourne.
