Russell Fletcher

Russell Dee Fletcher went home to our Heavenly Father on January 14, 2025, at the age of 70.

Russell was a strong man of Christian faith whose kindness, generosity and love greatly touched everyone that knew him. He cherished his family and greatly valued his many friends. He was an avid hunter, even up to the end. He especially enjoyed hunting with his children, family members and friends. He also found a lot of joy in leading the music at First Southern Baptist Church of Warren. Russell loved telling stories and making people laugh. He is greatly missed by all.

Russell attended Grand Canyon College, where he was Student Body President his Senior year. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in environmental science, and later received his certification as a Registered Professional Engineer. His career spanned working for both the City of Phoenix and City of Glendale.

Russell is survived by his wife, Dianna Fletcher; mother, Ida Fletcher; siblings, David Fletcher (Spouse: Jane), Connie Forkum (Spouse: Nilman) and Carol Layne; Children, James Fletcher, Amy Fletcher and Ben Fletcher; Stepchildren, Jeff Zimmerman (Spouse: Felissa) and Cathleen Smith (Spouse: Trevor); many nephews and nieces and 6 grandchildren.

Russell is proceeded in Death by his father, Grady Fletcher; Nephew, Troy Fletcher and Niece, Saturdae Layne.

A Memorial Service will be held on February 1st, 2025 at 10:00am at First Southern Baptist church, 500 Arizona Street, Bisbee AZ 85603.
